People of Eternia, the movie is finally here! I was one of those little kids in the 80s that didn’t go out of home without his MOTU figure (Skeletor in my case, my brother had He-Man) and I have fond memories of watching the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Filmation cartoon on tv. Everything I saw of the movie so far looks amazing, full of nostalgia and love for the IP. So, I couldn’t resist myself to paint a little tribute. It started as a Skeletor portrait, but I just couldn’t avoid adding more and more villains, haha.
I love the cast, the desing, the music I hear from it (Brian May!)… and the fact that the Travis Knight ( the director behind Laika’s masterpiece “Kubo and the Two Strings”) is directing it add even more excitement for me.I haven’t seen it yet, so please, NO SPOILERS HERE. But let me know if you enjoyed it.

People of Eternia, a lot of you asked me for a “heroes” poster when I posted my first piece of Masters of the Universe, and it was the plan from the begining anyway, so.. here it is!!
I loved this movie. The cast, the visuals, the art, but mostly the music. I think it’s my favorite soundtrack of the year (big congrats to Daniel Pemberton and @brianmayforreal). And thank you Travis Knight for making me feel like a kid again while watching the movie.I had a blast painting this with the soundtrack on a loop in the background. I hope you like it! Thank you for the support.
